Suresh Sharma is a retired Brigadier General of the Nepal Army. He is the Chief Executive Officer of the Nepal Institute for Strategic Studies. 

He is an alumnus of APCSS (Hawaii), NESA (Washington DC) and George C Marshall Center (Germany). He has a fellowship at NDU (China). Having a Master’s degree in Defense and Strategic Studies (Madras University) he has published several articles in Sipahi Annual and in national dailies. He has participated in various national as well as international seminars. He served as Brigade Commander, Nepal Army Spokesperson and Military Assistant to COAS. He has a wide range of experience in UN missions as well.
